Sunday Morning Celebration Service

It was a beautiful day outside and a great day inside at Living Hope. Thank you Jesus, you can do more than we can ask or think.

First, we were glad to have Louise back today. She has been gone recovering from knee surgery. It was not the same without her and was really nice to see her again. I also enjoyed seeing Myrna today. She always has a nice smile on her face that can just make you feel good. I really do enjoy spending time with my Living Hope family.

The sermon today was fun, Moses' Journey Part 3. We not only learned that you don't not have to be Superman for God to use you, because Moses certainly was not, but we also learned that God has a specific call for each of us. I was so happy when I saw everyone come forward and take a card that had the phrase: My Family, My Friends, My Neighbor, etc on it back out into the seating area. Each person began to tape these cards to an empty seat. This was symbolic of the call God has for us to minister to those whom we love with the love of Jesus. One day our neighbors, friends, and coworkers will know and understand how much Jesus loves them.

Jesus we say, "Living Hope is yours." "Use your church to show mercy, justice, to do good, and help people to learn to walk humbly with you God."
