This was played at a wedding that I attended this weekend. It tore me up. I love my daughter very much and I don't want to miss one dance.

Ask Jesus For Help

Isaiah 30:19 O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem,you will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries.

I am not sure about all the reasons why, but God has chosen to work through asking(prayer). There are many things in this world we face from a day to day basis that cause us anger, pain, confusion, and maybe a sense of helplessness. We need some grace to find strength, joy, and help. God says if we ask him, He will help.

Monday you may face a coworker or classmate who wants to be rude to you, ask Jesus for Help.

Tuesday you may face an unexpected bill in the mail, ask Jesus for help.

Wednesday you may have a sick child, ask Jesus for help.

Thursday you may be exhausted from the previous three days, ask Jesus for help.

Friday you may have an ordinary day, ask Jesus for help to build up character for the not so ordinary days.

God helps those who ask. So ask.

Father I ask that You give us our daily bread.

5 Signs that show if someone is open to hearing about Jesus

1. When a person has a great need or hurt that can be a sign.
Please don't be a vulture and swoop in just to win someone to Jesus, but really care about people.

2. When a person has shame about a sin that can be a sign.
-Woman at the Well(John 4) had 5 failed marriages and was working on number 6.
-Don't look at sin as a reason to judge, but as a sign to give compassion and to introduce them to Jesus.

3. When a person has a humble or broken attitude that can be a sign.
-Don't harass people who say that are not interest in God, but at the same look for those God has prepared to hear about Jesus. They will be open and humbled enough to listen.

4. When a person is interested in the meaning and purpose of life that can be a sign.
-When they are saying there has to be more to my marriage, for my children, job, etc. They are looking for the way the to truly live, and I believe that is Jesus.

5. When a person asks questions about God, life, death, or eternity that can be a sign.
-Hello, if they are asking these questions, just go for it. Tell them about Jesus.
