Our Father's Hand

We started a ministry at Living Hope 4 years ago called Our Father's Hand. It was originally started as a way to help single mothers with school supplies, although it is not limited to just single mothers now. That first year we gave away 22 brand new backpacks full of new school supplies. We almost had to beg people to come get them, it seemed like there was not much interest.

Year 2, this ministry began to grow. We gave away 44 backpacks and people were starting to ask us about this ministry.

Last year we gave away 68 backpacks. We planned the distribution day very well. Seeing those 68 kids on our campus: playing, eating, laughing, and receiving their backpacks was great.

This year, we have 95 children signed up to receive new backpacks full of new school supplies. We are going to have a great time on distribution day, August 22. Please pray for this day. The school supplies have flowed in like water. I am very proud of you, Living Hope. We still need a few more supplies and we will be ready to serve. There is still time to make a contribution to this ministry. Please bring the school supplies to the church during one of our services. If you would like to make a cash donation to this ministry, please mail it to:

Living Hope Assembly of God
7033 Hammond Ave S.E.
Dutton MI, 49316

Please mark your donation with the words "Our Father's Hand." All of the money will go towards this ministry. Thank you so much.

I can't wait to see those 95 children, with those smiles on their faces.

I love you.

In Jesus' Service,
